This review will seem like I'm a homer but, nope I just love the food! As a native of Denver, I know and absolutely love "Pork Green Chile", and Santiago's has some of the best. I've moved to Oklahoma now and whenever I go home, I make sure to stop and a least get a smothered, deluxe burrito with half-n-half Green Chile (meaning hot and mild mixed). Trust me try the half-n-half before going for hot. If I have time to sit and eat, it's usually the beef enchilada plate with Red Chile. Comes with 3 enchiladas, beans and rice. I like fresh chopped onions on top. Santiago's is also well known for other dishes and especially the breakfast burritos! I don't have a complaint, but this isn't the place to go if you're looking for fancy decorations and table service. These restaurants are about "GOOD FOOD"!!
Food is great! I recommend the Mexican Hamburger. It’s a burger in a tortilla folded in half and you can get it smothered with chili and cheese or with just chili inside, etc. service is great even when they’re busy and they are reasonably priced. We go for pick up because that’s our preference. Atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. My opinion is it must get packed at lunch, maybe dinner time as well, idk, but it’s just not what I consider warm and inviting.
Food was great! They have a small menu but everything is delicious and they've definitely perfected their specialty. The chips and salsa are not free-flowing... however, totally worth the stop if you love authentic tamales and green chili. We prefer our food "smothered" in the 1/2 and 1/2 (hot and mild green chili sauce mixed). The building is a renovated dance club so nothing special or fancy but the food is what you come for.
It's a very relaxed environment.The food is excellent. Maybe the only thing I don't like is.Uh , they don't let you use the all booths, The tables are kind of uncomfortable for older folks and there was like five booths open but they wouldn't let us sit in them. But the food was still amazing.I might try to go when there's not as many people there are so We could use the 5 booths that they actually let you loose.I'm not sure why, It's very weird that they wouldn't let As shoes open and available booths???
Fair prices, real Coloradexican food. I've always primarily gone here for breakfast burritos, but the lunch and dinner dishes are actually better. This location is a lot more chil, and friendly than the other locations.
A true Denver staple. You know what you’re going to get every time,quality food. We ordered the deluxe bowl, deluxe burrito and regular burrito for breakfast recently. It was Wednesday so that’s bacon day. Great food. 1/2&1/2 on the salsa is good and still plenty spicy for me.
Santi's is as good as ever. I have never been disappointed at any location. Got me a beef and bean burrito bowl with super hot chilli and it was amazing. This is a good choice any day of the qeek except Sun of course.
About once a month I order breakfast burritos for everybody at work. There's a little variation between the level of hotness from one time to another, but I usually get a mix of the half and half and the hot. It's a good, filling breakfast burrito.
